Sometime around last October, I began to develop a need, a need for change. Maybe it was the onset of seasonal depression or the robust smell of pumpkin spice in the air clogging my brain; once that overwhelming desire hit, there was no turning back.

At the time I was in a completely different career position with very little advancement in sight. I felt as though my future was dim. I realized that my career and life goals would never be met if I continued down that path and immediately dove into exploring my options.
